By BBN Staff: Home to Belize’s most popular bird sanctuary, the village of Crooked Tree in the Belize District was one of the rural communities most affected by Hurricane Earl. The rebuilding efforts by the Government of Belize, through the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), assisted those residents who lost their homes.
