By BBN Staff: Marco Tulio Sanchez, 65, a security guard at J.E.C. Co located on Youth for the Future Drive, Belize City was shot to the left arm last night.
According to police reports, they visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital about 8:15 pm where they saw Sanchez suffering from a gunshot wound to the left arm.
Initial Investigation revealed that Sanchez was at his place of work at J.E.C. Co. about 8:10 pm when two male persons approached him and one in an attempt to relieve him of his firearm fired a single gunshot at him causing his injury.
Police have since detained one man pending investigation.
