By BBN Staff: On Saturday morning around 7:30, police visited Teakettle village in Cayo District where they saw the body of 19-year-old Abner Vasquez with injuries to the back of his head and right jaw.
Initial investigation revealed that Friday afternoon around 4, Vasquez was socializing at a shop in Teakettle village when he left for home and on the way, he apparently got into an altercation with someone who inflicted the fatal injuries to him.
His body was discovered the following morning and was transported to the Western Regional Hospital morgue.
Police investigation continues.
