By BBN Staff:Armando Pelayo Jr. was shot and chopped several times on Thursday morning in Corozal Town.
However, his girlfriend and her mother were detained by police over the weekend for questioning.
The duo have reportedly not been cooperating with police
When Pelayo was fatally wounded, his girlfriend was the only person with him inside their home.
However, police said they did not detain her because they were trying to assist the victim.
Police investigations continue.
