By BBN Staff:The Bishop Martin Neighborhood Watch Committee (BMNW) had requested that bumps be installed in key areas in Santa Elena.
Perez and Orchid streets were main concerns for the group because seven accidents have occurred in the area recently. The streets are also located directly behind the Santa Elena primary school.
Today, Mayor of San Ignacio and Santa Elena, Earl Trapp installed two new bumps at the streets.
Trapp told BBN that he is committed to the safety and development of both towns and hopes to continue working together with the community oriented groups of the towns.
BMNW Chairman Alberto Palma told BBN that they are grateful that the Mayor has taken into consideration their request to ensure the safety of the children and residents of the town.
