By BBN Staff:On Friday around 5:35 p.m., Belmopan police visited the Western Regional Hospital where officers saw 27-year-old Freddy Cerritos, a mason of Guatemala Street in the San Martin area with several stab wounds to the body.
He was pronounced dead at approximately 5:40 p.m.
The initial investigation reveals that he and three other men were socializing on Guyana Street when a Honduran national, 27-year-old Howard Martinez, reportedly got into an argument. During the argument, Martinez pulled out a knife and stabbed Cerritos.
Police are looking for Martinez as investigations continue.
