By BBN Staff: A man was robbed of a $3,000 bank loan he had just received after he posted photos of the cash in a Facebook group.
According to the family, the incident occurred sometime around 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
Two men one of whom was armed with a gun kicked down the door to their home near Lacroix boulevard in Belize City and demanded the $3,000.
Fearing for his life the man handed over a knapsack with the monies and other documents.
However, before the two robbers made off, the gunman was ordered by his accomplice to shoot the victim in his home. Fortunately he did not.
The matter has since been reported to police and investigations are underway.
