By BBN Staff: Last night around 6:25 p.m., police responded to a house fire on West Street in Punta Gorda and saw a wooden structure with zinc roofing measuring approximately 26 by 30 feet engulfed in flames.
No one was in the house at the time of the fire though it was previously occupied by two persons.
The wooden structure along with all its contents was completely destroyed.
The Police and Fire Department are investigating.
