Tuesday, August 4th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: The People’s United Party (PUP) continues to fight its way out of the political wilderness. For their chief opponents, the United Democratic Party (UDP), the public rivalry is both a source of humor and caution. 
Education Minister Patrick Faber, the area representative in the Collet Division told 7 News that PUP leader Francis Fonseca has not truly put his leadership on the table and that his record is enough evidence that he is no longer fit to lead.
The PUP have not won an election in Belize since the 2003 general election, with results progressively getting worse except for a slight rebound in the double election of 2012. So as happened that year, will a snap general election be called?
Faber says the UDP has been cautious about such a decision but Prime Minister Dean Barrow seems inclined to do so, but is waiting for the right time. The PUP, he said, can never be counted out.
