By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning around 7:00 , police conducted a search in an area within the cemetery in Sand Hill Village, Belize District which led to the discovery of a .22 riffle without serial number.
No one was found in the area and the firearm was deposited as “Found Property”.
Police also conducted a search in a bushy area in Sand Hill Village, Belize District which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 55 grams of cannabis and five black plastic buckets each containing a marijuana tree measuring 10 inches to 17 inches in height.
Police also found a black 9mm pistol, Jericho brand and one magazine in a black plastic bag in an open area in the same vicinity.
No one was found in the area and the items were deposited as “Found Property”.
