Wednesday, August 05, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: In addition to supporting adults and youths with diabetes the Belize Diabetes Association is conducting an awareness campaign among the general public. This morning local dry goods superstore Tropigas made a $3,000 donation of a refrigerator, laptop computer and projector. 
Association president Anthony Castillo welcomed the donation as useful in continuing its work.
We also spoke to Tropigas representative Rochelle Tucker who said they consider themselves happy to be partners with such an important organization.
The Association is located on Central American Boulevard and offers free testing and supply services for diabetics young and old.
