Thursday, August 6th, 2015. BMG: 65 year old Emilio Awe, a resident of Star Fish Crescent, has been served with a notice of intended prosecution after a motorcycle collided into his Nissan SUV yesterday, August 5.
Officers responded to the scene of an accident next to DK Supermarket on the Phillip Goldson Highway, where 21 year old Godwin Panting was seen suffering from cut wounds to his face, an abrasion to his left foot and was complaining of pain.
Emilio told police that he was exiting the supermarket’s compound when he noticed a black motorcycle heading straight towards him from the opposite direction, prompting him to quickly apply brakes in an attempt to avoid a collision.
But the motorcycle, being driven by Panting hit him anyway, causing the rider to fall off. Panting was transported to the K.H.M.H to be treated for his injuries.
