Wednesday, August 12th, 2015. BMG: Cancer Foundation, A Thousand Smiles for Cleyon, will be having a fundraiser Saturday, August 12th, in honor of Henry Griffin, a child who passed away last September while being assisted by the foundation in his battle with cancer.
The event will serve to bring awareness to the rising amount of Cancer cases in Belizean children and is being held in Belmopan since Henry was popular and well-loved there.
A popular Zumba instructor from Mexico will be there to keep the attendees occupied, as well as DJ’s playing good music, with food and drinks being on sale, this fundraiser promises to be fun for the entire family.
The day’s events will be closed off with the release of hundreds of yellow balloons at 6:00 p.m to kick off the after party which will run until midnight. It’s all happening at the Comprehensive School.
