Thursday, August 13th, 2015 Aaron Humes Reporting: Ground has been broken for the new community center in the Lake Independence division, next door to the abandoned home of the People’s United Party (PUP) in the division.
First-term representative Mark King has received title for his plot next to the PUP plot, and applied to have the PUP structure demolished as “a nuisance.”
The new community center will host internet and other programs for residents of the division.
King is using the occasion as a declaration of war against his rival Cordel Hyde, whom he accused of neglecting the division during his time in charge, and against the Hyde family and Kremandala media organization, whom he accuses of refusing to support his programs and withholding advertising from him.
He promises to “get rid of” all of them and bring development to the division.
