Wednesday, August 26th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Twenty-six year old Errol Lynch, a fisherman of a Zacaranda Street address, was fined $300 today by Magistrate Deborah Rodgers after he pled guilty to handling stolen goods.
Lynch was given until September 30 to pay the fine. If he defaults on payment he will serve 3 weeks.
Harold Perriot reported to the police that on August 20 his room was burglarized and several items were stolen including his 32 inch television.
The police conducted an investigation and based on information they received they executed a search at Lynch’s residence which resulted in the recovery of the television.
Lynch said he did not know that the television was stolen. He said a taxi driver who takes his son to the Inspiration Centre every 2 weeks gave him the television to hold because he was having problems with his common-law wife.
