Tuesday, September 1st, 2015. BMG: The Eastern Police Division South held a community family sports day yesterday, August 31st, 
at the Wilton Cumberbatch Field & Basketball Court in the Yabra area.
More than 200 residents from the Yabra, Kraal Road, Faber’s Road, Ross Pen Road, Weight Street and Queen Charlotte communities went out to support during the course of the day, from 10:00 a.m until 4:30 p.m.
Six community teams went out to participate in the games, with the Southside Team ultimately winning 1st place, Kraal Road (2) in second place and Kraal Road (1) in third place.
Douglas Hyde, Coordinator of the Public Relations Unit, Eastern Police Division, extends his gratitude to all sponsors of the event, Sr. Supt Chester Williams, all the Police Officers who assisted and all the residents who supported the sports day.
