Monday, September 14, 2015. BMG: On August 30th, the Belize Bank continued to support sporting initiatives and partnered with the Belize National Triathlon Association and donated $6.000.
The Belize Bank triathlon team participated in the 16th Annual Lionman Triathlon and won. The team comprised of the swimmer Mr. Anthony Pollard who swam the Foreshore waters for 1500 meters before coming out to tag the rider.
The rider cross-country champion Ms. Alicia Thompson rode for 24.8 miles from Newton Barracks all the way up to Haulover Bridge and back to Marine Parade to tag the runner.
The runner Mr. Derrick Conorquie paced for 6 miles twice from Newton Barracks all the way up to the roundabout on Saint Thomas Street and back to Celebrity Restaurant.
