Tuesday, September 15, 2015. BMG: The Belize Bank Ltd. partnered with Adventures 
Sports Club and signed an agreement for the sum of $50,000.00 which will be disbursed in five equal installments of $10,000.00. Over the next five years. This past week the club received the first payment of $10,000.00.
Adventures Sports Club was formed in 2000 as an experimental
venture to provide families with an alternative football outlet. Today, the program host many tournaments with children and youths from San
Ignacio, Santa Elena, Benque Viejo and surrounding villages. The club also established links with several teams both locally and internationally and is committed to promoting the sport of football from an early age.
The club programs cater to toddlers/preschoolers, grassroots youth, select team, reach and cap programs. The Belize Bank is committed to this initiative as sports can teach educational values, promote a healthy lifestyle and unite people of many cultures and background.
