Friday, September 18, 2015. Victor Castillo Reporting: With the recent scandals at the Western Regional 
Hospital, especially the attacks aimed at Minister of Health Pablo Marin, today there is a twist to all the unfortunate incidents occurring in the Health Service.
This morning, as members of the Corozal Community Hospital and the community gathered at the CCH compound along with Marin and Health CEO Dr. Peter Allen, the historical and long overdue inauguration of the newly and fully equipped Operating Theatre marked 
the opening of the new facility, which will provide service to thousands of patients in the North.
The Operating Theatre at the Corozal Community Hospital has a cost value of approximately $1 Million Belize dollars.
First Surgery to be done in the coming weeks.
