Moist and unstable conditions prevail

Thursday, September 24th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly cloudy skies with a few showers, thunderstorms and periods of weather feature September 24th 2015 300x200 Moist and unstable conditions prevailrain mainly along coastal areas this morning and increasing over most areas this afternoon and tonight.

Winds will be blowing from the East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop to choppy.

High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 7:31 p.m. and a low tide this afternoon at 1:21 p.m.

The Sun will set at 5:47 p.m. this evening.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for cloudy to overcast skies with several outbreaks of showers, thunderstorms or periods of rain over most areas.
