Saturday, September 26th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies with some showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain, mainly in the North and over the sea today. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight, mainly along coastal areas.
Winds will be blowing from the Southwest this morning, then from the South-Southeast later at 5-15 knots, with higher gusts near showers and thunderstorms. Sea state will be choppy-moderate, becoming locally rough at times and a small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 76 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 8:52 p.m. and a low tide this afternoon at 2:43 p.m.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for a few showers and thunderstorms affecting mostly Northern districts during the day and then spreading along coastal areas in the night.
