Friday, October 16th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Around 10:27 this morning at the corner of Partridge and Vernon Streets in Belize City a 21 year old was riding his bicycle on Partridge heading toward Mahogany Streets.
Upon reaching the corner of Partridge and Vernon Streets, another person on bicycle opened fire with at least four shots and as many as six.
The person fell off his bicycle and pretended to play dead, whereupon the shooter fled the scene heading toward Central American Boulevard. However, he was not actually hurt.
Police have confirmed that they have a person in custody whom is known to them. Investigations continue.
