Thursday, November 5th, 2015. Chrisbert Garcia Reporting: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies with sunny breaks today and cloudy skies at times tonight.
Some showers or thunderstorms will affect mainly the coast this morning, then mostly northern districts this afternoon, with showers decreasing somewhat tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the East-Northeast at 5-15 knots with higher gusts near thunderstorms and the sea state will be choppy, becoming locally rough at times. A small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this evening at 6:29 and a low tide this morning at 11:58.
The Sun will set at 5:19 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for cloudy spells with a few showers and thunderstorms mainly over Northern districts.
