By Chrisbert Garcia: A Belize City fisherman was charged yesterday in connection with a shooting on November 22nd, in which two other fishermen received gunshot wounds and had to be treated at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
Around 6:20 that morning, police responded to reports of the shooting and found 27-year-old Herman Ramsey suffering from gunshot wounds to the left arm and chest, along with 35-year-old Clive Arnold who got hit to the right upper thigh.
The men told officers that they were socializing on Faber’s Road, Belize City, when a man they know to be Trevor Guy, approached them and began firing shots, causing their injuries.
20-year-old Trevor Ezequiel Guy of a Faber’s Road address, was yesterday formally charged for the offences of “Attempted Murder”, “Use of Deadly means of Harm” and “Dangerous Harm”.
