By BMG Staff: On Wednesday, the Belize Defence Force hosted its annual Christmas Luncheon, a tradition in the national army where junior soldiers are served lunch by their superiors in honor of their commitment to the defense of Belize.
A few of these good men and women received special awards for their service in the Force during Wednesday’s ceremony at Price Barracks in Ladyville.
Those who scored a perfect 300 percent on the Aptitude and Physical Fitness Test were recognized, as was civilian worker of the year with the Force, Fidencio Coc.
Best Male Soldier went to Private number 228027, M. Kingston, while the pick of the females was 228800 Lance Corporal S. Paiz.
The Force’s youngest member is Private number 229562 E. Teck, while its oldest is Private 223931, P. Tescum.
