By Dalila Ical: Orange Walk Police have increased police presence and vigilance throughout the town for the Christmas holidays.
Officer Commanding the Orange Walk Formation Selvyn Tillett says the formation will be deploying more mobile, bicycle and foot patrols.
“Expect to see more police on the streets because during this time people are trying to steal”, added Tillet. “We assure the community of Orange Walk that the Orange Walk Police are doing their best so that they can have a safe and tranquil, happy Christmas,” he explained.
Orange Walk residents can also help by being vigilant and are advised that if they see anyone or anything suspicious, to call the police who will do their best to respond quickly, concluded OC Tillett.
