By BMG Staff: Belmopan Police launched an investigation into the report of a rape by a 24-year-old Honduran woman, which ironically ended in her being arrested and charged. 
Authorities say the report turned out to be false and she was consequently arrested and charged for committing mischievous act.
Police have also taken the time to remind the public that making a false report is an offense.
