By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological service of Belize calls for a relatively moist and gusty south-easterly air flow to prevail.
The 24-hour forecast is for cloudy spells at times with a few showers mainly along the coast and over the northern and central areas of the country.
Winds blow from East to South-East at 10 to 25 knots with occasionally higher gusts. The sea state is considered rough. Advisories to all small crafts are in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 70 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected at 1:30 p.m. and a low tide at 7:43 p.m. later today.
The sun will set in at 5:28 p.m.
The extended forecast for through Thursday and Thursday night is for a few showers over most areas.
