By BMG Staff: A one year old baby girl drowned in a tub on Wednesday morning in Indian Creek Village, Camp 51, Orange Walk District.
Authorities report that the child’s mother had just fed her and went to do other chores around the house. It is not too clear how it happened but sometime around 11:00 that morning the toddler’s older brother, a 16-year-old, found her motionless in the laundry room with her head inside a tub with water and clothes in it.
Their father was alerted and he removed her from the tub and tried to revive her but couldn’t. Police are investigating the incident.
