By BBN Staff: Two separate searches conducted by Belize City Police; one yesterday and the other on February 6, yielded a handgun and 11 live rounds of ammunition, which were all deposited as ‘found property’ since no one was seen in any of the immediate areas.
On Saturday, February 6, at around 8:30 p.m., officers searched an abandoned lot on Goal Lane where they found a black nine-millimeter pistol without serial number, containing an empty magazine.
Working on information received, officers again dispatched to an abandoned lot, this time on Dally Street, where they found seven rounds of Aguila brand nine-millimeter ammunition and four rounds of .380 auto R ammunition yesterday morning around 9:00.
