By Aaron Humes: Returned leader of the People’s United Party, Honorable John Briceño has meeting with the PUP executive committees in the different constituencies nationwide. 
Today, he met with Prime Minister Dean Barrow. One of the matters discussed was the latest incursion of the Guatemalan military into Belize’s territorial waters at the Sarstoon.
Briceño says he understands that our citizens must exercise caution when visiting the Sarstoon area but they cannot be stopped from going to any part of Belize.
He echoed the party’s position that they are willing to cooperate with the government for a bipartisan approach to dealing with the territorial dispute.
Another matter on which the PUP says it is willing to set aside politics is the threat of derisking.
