By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight with little or no rainfall.
Winds will be blowing from the East-Southeast at 10-20 knots with higher gusts and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this morning at 11:00 and a low tide this evening at 5:14.
The sun will set at 6:02 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for continuing warm and mainly fair weather with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms developing inland Friday afternoon and evening.
