By BBN Staff: A weak late season cold front affecting the country supports cooler and relatively moist conditions the next 24-36 hours.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies and cool weather with a few showers, periods of rain or an isolated thunderstorm mostly over Southern and along some coastal areas.
Winds will be blowing from the North-Northwest at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 9:40 and a low tide this afternoon at 3:15.
The sun will set at 6:15 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for variably cloudy and cool conditions with a few showers or periods of light rain mostly over the sea and along Southern coastal areas.
