BREAKING: Woman shot in attack at a residence in San Pedro Town

By Aaron Humes: In the last hour, information has been received by police of someone being shot in the San Pedrito Area, San Pedro Town.

Preliminary information identified the victim as one Zulmy Camara, 22, self-employed of Orange Walk Town. She reportedly sustained gunshot injuries to the right leg and was transported to the San Pedro polyclinic. She was attacked by three masked men, two of whom were said to be carrying firearms.

A boat was seen leaving the area at a fast pace shortly after the shooting at a residence in the San Pedrito area of the town.

Police investigations are underway.
