Gun violence escalates in Santa Elena Town with multiple shootings reported

By Breaking Belize News Staff: In Santa Elena Town, reports indicate a man was shot shortly after midnight near the Santa Elena Sports Complex while socializing at a house. This incident is currently under investigation, and further details will be provided upon the release of an official police report.

In a separate incident, shots were fired on Lily Street in Santa Elena Town. According to sources, this is the second shooting incident on Lily Street this week. On Wednesday night, a Santa Elena Town resident was reportedly approached by a lone gunman. The resident managed to push the attacker away and escape, but the attacker and an accomplice pursued him and fired several shots.

Police are investigating both incidents on Lily Street, but no official reports have been released at this time.
