By Horace Palacio: Voters in the Toledo East Constituency are deciding on their new People’s United Party (PUP) Standard Bearer today, with polling stations open from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The convention is restricted to registered PUP supporters and independent voters, excluding individuals known to support other parties.
PUP Chairman confirmed that vote counting will occur at the polling stations, with official results announced from the Punta Gorda base.
The three candidates are Melhem Espat, son of the late Honorable Mike Espat; Nicanor Requena, brother of Minister Oscar Requena; and Dr. Osmond Martinez, former CEO.
