Sunshine and Showers: A mixed bag for Belize today

By Horace Palacio: The National Meteorological Service of Belize reports that moist and unstable conditions will continue to influence the weather today and into tomorrow. While the morning hours may offer sunny skies with occasional clouds and isolated showers, the afternoon and evening will see an increased chance of thunderstorms, particularly inland and in the south.

Coastal areas can expect a high of 88°F (31°C), while inland temperatures may reach 96°F (36°C). Hilly regions will see a more moderate 82°F (28°C). Winds blowing from the east-southeast at 5-10 knots will create a light chop on the sea.

Residents are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and exercise caution, especially when planning outdoor activities for the afternoon and evening hours. Have a blessed Monday, Belize!
