Premier Women’s League of Belize features 2 games on Sunday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: As the Premier Women’s League of Belize hits Week 10, two games are featured for Sunday.

Leaders Jewel Fury will be playing as visitors against Caribbean Tire at 4:00 pm on Sunday at the Caribbean Tire Football Field.

Old Capital Turf Warriors will be hosting the Sagitun GIRLZ at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan on Sunday at 4:00 pm.

The game between Napoles and the Rising Phoenix, also scheduled for 4:00 pm at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan on Sunday, has been cancelled, according to the Football Federation of Belize.

Last week, Jewel Fury bulldozed Rising Phoenix 14-0, Napoles defeated Old Capital Turf Warriors 7-1, and Sagitun GIRLZ  visiting Caribbean Tire beat them 4-0.

So far, after nine weeks, Jewel Fury lead the PWLB with 24 points. The Sagitun GIRLZ  follow with 21. Napoles are in third place with 18. Caribbean Tire hold fourth place with 12. The Old  Capital Turn Warriors are in fifth place with three and Rising Phoenix are in the sixth position with three points as well.
