Belize Tourism Board’s GrabLife Under-10 Football tournament kicks off in San Ignacio

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Belize Tourism Board’s (BTB) GrabLife Under-10 Football tournament kicked off in San Ignacio, Cayo.

More than 200 U-10 Athletes and their coaches received new football jerseys courtesy of BTB, the Office of the Prime Minister and Hitz 100-Oye FM.

The 12 participating teams include:

1. Wolverines FC (Shawville)
2. Benque Viejo Football Academy
3. Blazing Warriors (Cristo Rey)
4. Frenchies FC (Bullet Tree)
5. Golden Youths FC (Santa Elena and San Ignacio)
6. Hillview FC (Santa Elena)
7. Rockets FC (Bullet Tree)
8. San Antonio Jaguars
9. Santa Elena Royals
10. Wateva Boys (Santa Elena)
11. Westside Strikers (Santa Elena)
12. Z-Boys FC (Benque)

The U-10 Athletes and Coaches expressed gratitude for their new jerseys and the games then kicked off.

The GrabLife U-10 tournament will be hosted for 12 weeks in Shawville, San Ignacio.
