By Rubén Morales Iglesias: G-Flow’s Jaylen Briceño topped the five-mile Junior National Individual Time Trial Championship held on Sunday on the John Smith Road by the Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB).
Briceño clocked 11 minutes and 47 seconds (11:47) winning over Enan Valerio of the Chavarria’s Cycling Club (12:17) and Valvoline’s Tyler Tejeda (12:35), who were second and third respectively.
Rolling Shattaz Cycling’s Richard Rosado (12:47) was fourth and Chavarria’s Jayden Eck (13:09) finished fifth.
The 51-mile Junior National Individual Road Race Cycling Championship will be held on Sunday, June 30.
