Robert Liam Stewart captures Masters National Individual Time Trial Cycling Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Robert Liam Stewart triumphed in the 10-mile Masters National Individual Time Trial Championship held on Sunday on the John Smith Road by the Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB).

Stewart, who rode independently, was timed at 22 minutes and 40 seconds (22:40) winning over SPD Cycling Team’s Kent ‘Bob’ Gabourel (23:21) and Alliance United’s Byron Pope (23:25), who were second and third respectively.

Team BZ Flash’s Jody Williams (24:19) finished fourth and MnM Engineering’s Renan Matus (24:39) took fifth.

The 90-mile Masters National Individual Road Race Cycling Championship will be held on Sunday, June 30.
