By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On June 25, 2024, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams addressed the 2024 Graduating class of San Pedro Columbia RC School.
The graduation theme was “Dream it, Believe, Achieve it.”
Commissioner Williams encouraged graduands to remain focus despite the challenges that they may face.
“I told them that during their life’s journey they will encounter people who will try to bring them down, people who will tell them they can’t do certain things, people who will say things about them that is not true and people who will want to see them fail; but they must remain focus and keep in mind at all times that their destiny rest in their own hands. If they pay attention to those naysayers then certain they will lose control of their destiny to the naysayers. They must learn to make something good out of ever bad situation and must never be afraid to take risk and fail, because in every failed situation there is some success,” Williams said.
Williams thanked the school for the opportunity to share with the students on this important milestone in their lives.
