UEFA Euro 2024: All teams now qualified for Round of 16

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: With the final five teams qualified on Wednesday, all 16 have now been determined for the knockout stage of the UEFA European Championship (EURO2024).

Georgia beat Portugal 2-0 while Türkiye doubled up on Czechia 2-1 in the final games of Group F. All teams had chances of making it to the knockout round but Czechia were left out after only earning one point. Portugal (6 points) topped Group C over Türkiye with six and Georgia with four.

In Group E, Slovakia drew 1-1 with Romania while Ukraine played to a scoreless stalemate with Belgium. All teams finished level with four points but Ukraine, who finished fourth, didn’t advance as only the top two and best four third-place teams qualify.

The Round of 16 starts on Saturday and will run until Tuesday, July 2.
