By Breaking Belize News Staff: Joel Alexander Belgrave, a 40-year-old resident of Flamboyant Street, is out on bail after being charged with burglary and handling stolen goods. Belgrave appeared in Court #5 on Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods but not guilty to burglary.
Belgrave admitted to possessing stolen items, including a weed eater and a mountain bicycle, worth a total of $3,725. He claimed he did not commit the burglary but was given the items by another person. The court set his bail at $5,000 with one surety, and the case was adjourned to August 26, 2024.
