By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) informed the public that it plans to remain open as they continue to monitor the developments of Hurricane Beryl.
Beryl is expected to begin to affect Northern Belize and the Cayes on Thursday night with heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
The statement from the PGIA noted that this can change based on the updates from the National Meteorological Service of Belize Office and National Emergency Management Organization-NEMO.
