Turk businessman finds Ford Expedition hit with bullet holes

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating an apparent shooting which damaged the vehicle of businessman Alper Arslan, 50, a resident of the Mayflower Garden area off the Philip Goldson Highway on Sunday night.

Police responded to a report of shots fired and Arslan said he went to check his garage around 4 p.m. where he found his gold-colored Ford Expedition SUV with bullet holes above the left rear wheel.

Technicians retrieved three expended casings and two bullet fragments from in front of Arslan’s apartment but investigators are yet to establish whether Arslan was being targeted, or if the shooting was random.

Police investigations continue.
