By BBN Staff: The Belize National Climate Change Office (NCCO) is hosting its first National Climate Change Youth Video Competition.
The NCCO says this opportunity “will allow Belizean youths the opportunity to showcase ways in which they are implementing concrete actions in their communities to address Climate Change”.
Youth between 18 and 30 years are eligible and are being asked to make a video portraying climate action in which they explain how they have helped to address climate change in the country or public awareness where they share how they’ve helped spread awareness on climate change
The video must be three minutes long and DVDs or flash drives must be sent no later than July 22 to the NCCO on 2 Slim Lane, Belmopan. They can also be posted on the center’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/belizeclimatechange/using hashtags #ccvideocompetitionbelize and #belizeclimatechange.
Prizes will be issued to the three best videos. For more information on the competition you can visit the NCCO’s Facebook page.
