By BBN Staff: The 24 hour forecast is for cloudy to overcast skies this afternoon and tonight. It will be cloudy with sunny breaks tomorrow.
A few showers, isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain are expected mainly inland and over the northern areas this afternoon, then mainly the coast and south tonight and tomorrow morning.
Winds will blow to the east at 10-20 knots becoming gusty near heavier showers and thunderstorms.
The sea state will be moderate becoming locally rough at times.
High Temperatures in the coast are expected at 85 degrees Fahrenheit, Inland at 88 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
A low tide is expected at 6:39 p.m. and a high tide just after midnight at 12:19.
The extended outlook between Friday afternoon and Saturday midday is for some cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorm mainly along the coast.
Advisories and alerts are issued to operators of small crafts and should exercise caution. Residents living in low lying areas should be vigilant for any possibilities of localized flooding.
