Prosecutors to decide on further action following fatal bike collision in Orange Walk Town

By Aaron Humes: On Saturday morning, there was a tragic motorcycle accident on the Otro Benque Road in Orange Walk Town, which cost 67-year-old senior citizen Honduran, Fermin Lobo, his life.

According to police, 26-year-old Hugo Vasquez has been served with a Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP), and the case will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for further action.

Lobo’s motorcycle collided with a tricycle delivery bike driven by Vasquez, who was traveling in the opposite direction. Lobo succumbed to his severe injuries after being flung from his motorcycle onto the pavement.
