By Horace Palacio: Queen Square Anglican School has announced that it will delay the start of the new school year following the unexpected passing of Vice Principal Ms. Shilpa Jones.
In a letter addressed to parents and guardians, the school expressed its deep sadness over the loss and extended condolences to Ms. Jones’ family and friends.
To allow staff and students time to grieve and receive support, classes will now commence on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, instead of the originally scheduled September 2nd reopening.
Further details regarding memorial services or support services for students and staff have not yet been released.
